Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She's an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation often. In 2016, she joined ESPN. She is the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins was bilingual since the age of nine years old a useful ability that allowed her to secure her first position working as an assistant to the producer with Univision in Miami and provided her with the opportunity to be a part of the production team for National programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985, in Mexico City. There is an older sister. The family moved from Mexico to Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. Her parents divorced soon after and in 1995 her mother was remarried to one of the naval architects called Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. On a trip, Antonietta stayed at the home of her sister in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed a new job. As a senior in high school and yet with a clear idea what she would like to accomplish with her life Antonietta went to her local University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her requirements. It turned out that she enjoyed the university and that the school provided the degree she was looking for. After high school, she graduated and enrolled into media school at the college. Her relationship lasted for a while with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor at WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a part. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his passion for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
